Vacancy: Workshop Engineer
We currently have a vacancy for an Workshop Engineer to work in our Support Services division, based in Barlborough.
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 9.00am to 5.30pm.
KEY PURPOSE OF ROLE:
To carry out an efficient workshop repair service and preventative maintenance service for the Company’s customers BASIC FUNCTION: To carry out workshop repairs on products supported by the Company and to maintain high standards of quality and workmanship To provide technical support to Field Engineering, other departments and customers where appropriate To highlight where improvements in efficiencies and practices can be implemented To attend internal/external training courses relevant to company products as required To work as directed within all areas of Workshop/Stores
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB HOLDER:
Identify potential business opportunities for the Company. To accurately implement all required Company procedures. To maintain professional standards of quality of work, personal presentation and personal conduct. Ensure you obtain permission before incurring costs for which you expect the Company to reimburse you, including hotels, tools, overtime, etc. Ensure that all Company matters are kept confidential by you at all times. Ensure all administrative returns are made on a strict and regular basis (at least monthly, e.g. expenses, overtime, mileage forms, etc). To take good care of all Company supplied tools and equipment To carry out duties in accordance with the Company’s Equal Opportunities and Health and Safety policies.
