Sunday lunch procedures & Till operation.
Peter outlines that new procedures are in place to ensure the efficient service of Sunday Lunches. All staff that serve at this time will receive training in regard to these procedures.
The new Club policy would be to provide an Adult and Child portion, where Child would be described as being of 12 years of age or less. No differentiation will be given from an adult to an OAP meal. No payment will be taken from customers up front. At busier times it is recommended that guests who have not booked a table are advised that they may take a seat in the comfy area, and should be asked if they require a drink while they wait for a table to be ready.
The Procedure for Sunday lunch is as follows:
Greet the customers at the bar.
Ask if they have a reservation.
If they have a reservation they will be given a table number, take their name and start a tab.
If they do not have a reservation take their name, start a tab and let them sit in the comfy area. At this point notify a waitress that a table for X amount of people needs setting up. Once the table has been set up the party will be shown to their table.
On the till you will notice the buttons and prices have changed. On the Sunday Lunch menu it’s set out like this:
Adult Meal (One Course). (£6)
Child Meal (One Course). (£3)
Another button For Desserts (£1.95)
See Menu & Prices Below
Also remember the new menu will be available on Sundays too, so make customers in the restaurant there is more choice available other than the carvery.
When booking people in. Please look at the diary and do not book people in the same time other tables are in. For example don't book a table of 15 in at 1:30 when there's a table to 30 in at 1:15.
Restaurant Bookings of 20 or more people - a telephone number must be taken, and a £5 deposit will be required per person.
