I'm using a Windows XP Pro PC as host, its connected to the internet using an ADSL connection. Then I have a notebook here, using win XP Pro, and it connects to the host PC through a hub.
Everything was working fine, but then suddenly internet connection sharing stopped working. I just don't have any connection to the internet from my notebook anymore. Network itself is working fine. I can transfer files around and stuff, just can't connect to the internet. So I really need ICS back. I tried deleting all the connections and setting them up again from scratch several times. I really have no idea whats wrong as I didn't change any settings at all on neither one of the computers. I hope someone can help me here.
It just seems to stopp working for no apparent reason? Then I have to go through the whole process of running the network setup wizzard on each PC.

The things I changed to solve this:
Turns out I had a dodgey copy of Win XP Pro. Got a different CD and installed it from scratch. That could have been the cause of the problem?
I was also running Norton System works. Which could have affected the firewall settings. So I no longer use that. All working fine now.
