If you get the following email, it's clearly a hoax. DON'T click the link and fill in your credit card details else you will soon have been skanked ! Here's the email to ignore: Dear PayPal member, Due to concerns, for the safety and integrity of your PayPal account we have issued this warning message. It has come to our attention that your account information needs to be updated due to inactive members, frauds and spoof reports.If you could please take 5-10 minutes out of your online experience and renew your records. You will not run into any future problems with the online service. However, failure to update your records will result in account suspension. Once you have updated your account records, your PayPal account service will not be interrupted and will continue as normal. I still keep getting these sort of emails and loads from other places such as ebay and even my bank!
Some look real, but whatever you do don't click on the links in them because they forward you to fake pages that look real, but when you type in your details they are sent off to whoever was clever enough to make the scam up.
Best thing to do is ignore emails like this and log-in at the correct page for the site.
