I'm wanting to get a projector for my disco's to play music video's and for the Karaoke.
I have never had a projector before, so don't know what to look for or how much I need to spend to get a decenet one?
I would be able to fix it to the celing where I do most of my disco's, but also want it to be portable so I can take it to other gigs. If you know owt about them please let me know what I need. Cheers!

Only Meee!!!
Once again, Projectors are not the cheapest of items, there are 2 standards, the permanent and the mobile one.
Mobile one being table/desktop mountable and the other being fixed permanently.
Neither are cheap, and you should be looking at the £2000 - £3000 mark for a decent one, not to mention you will need either a fixed screen or a portable pull down one, which again is based on your needs.
If i was you i would do some serious research into these as even the portable ones can hurt your wallet - if the moths aint already.
it will also depend alot on your price as to what the outcome is, outdoor ones will need to be budgeted to cover weather conditions, so may set you back a little more, and they also need desktop mount and a screen, as well as a good clear image as reflecting light affects these really easily.
Look around, maybe hire one a few times and see what you think, dont wound your wallet so early.

Got one off ebay for £250 it's an Infocus Lite Pro. It's not the best projector in the world but for the price and what I will be using it for it's ideal.
Music video's look cool on it. At the moment all I am doing is projecting onto a white wall, but am going to put a sheet up sometime.
Cheers for your help anyway. If I ever upgrade I now know what to be looking for.
