Going to buy or make myself a karaoke touch screen system. I need a PC with the list of karoke songs stored on it and a touch screen monitor, all stored in a kind of arcade style box. I need special software so people can search for a song and input their names. This then somehow needs to be transferred to the DJ PC so I can and people's names / songs put in a list. I either need a touch screen monitor with on-screen keyboard, or I can easily connect a standard keyboard to it. Ive seen something similar at www.bedrock-inn.com This was a totally custom application What this really does in brief: 5 POS pc’s (these are ready pc’s with touch screens) connected to a server. (Can also work with a single pc) People stand on the touch screen and type their names, browse through the list of available songs and sent them to the dj The dj gets a printout (Like a supermarket receipt) with the names of people requesting the song, the number of the song and plays that number (song) on his console by announcing the singers The request has a sequence number that is kept by the dj (who’s next) The songs are loaded from the dj and each song has the same number in our system like the dj console Together with the number and name of song we keep also the artist and category (slow, pop, rap etc) so the users selecting the songs can also go through category.

It would be then handy if I could fill an hard drive with MP3s and use it as a PC juke box with the same search features etc....
