iPhone car charger.

I've got an iPhone car charger, but it's one of those wireless radio transmitters so when it's plugged in it turns the sat nav sound off

Anyone know of any that will charge my phone in the car and still let me hear the TomTom app sound?

Since posting this topic the speaker on my iphone has packed in completely, so kind of irelivant at the moment. I've seen some speakers on ebay and doesn't look too difficult to replace so may have a go....

Got mine for about £30 from carphone warehouse, but might be able to pick one up on Fleabay

Do these work in the USA? I guess car battery is the same no matter where you are? Do they use the same shape plugs etc?

Got one from Meadowhell - O2 Shop today. Cheryl gave me her £10 voucher she was given from them It's a normal fag lighter socket with 2 USB ports so we can both charge our phones in the car.
