I've had a wired network for a while now. But fancy trying wireless again. The first time I tried it years ago it was hopeless.
Here's how I have it set out:
My Room: Main PC & Hub. x1 Network Cable for Dj PC. x1 Network Cable for Laptop x1 Network Cable For XBox.
Kitchen. x1 Network Cable. Dad's PC
Living Room. x1 Network Cable.
Sisters Room x1 Network Cable - Sisters PC
I could do with being able to dial my internet connection from any other PC without having to have my main PC switched on. I've not yet looked into it.
For example if I'm not home and Dad wants to use the computer in the kitchen he first needs to power up my PC and connect it to the internet before his internet will work. The same goes for my sister. So I mostly just leave my computer on and connected perminantly.

Just got a BT home hub, now my PC doesn't have to be on constantly so that the other PC's can connect to the internet. It's way better - no more complaints from my sister that the internet isn't working whenever I had to re-boot.
