My mixer / amp fell off my stand last Friday, fell onto the PC and smashed the main board. Now I need to get a new PC to use for Djing.
I plan on running Virtual Dj on it.
I've already got a 3.2 Ghz Dual Core Pentium D processor, hard drives, memory and all the other bits so can't decide what to buy? I suppose all I really need is a main board, but can't decide what I need. Any suggestions?

Just bought a new main board to replace the one that got broke. This will have to do for now until I can build a new PC.

Still thinking about a micro system, but that still wouldn't solve my problems. I found this video on youtube - he has already done what I am aiming to do: www.youtube.com/watch?v=QE_ellGRYGMand the reason I don't use laptop's anymore: The term they use at work is BER - Beyond Econmical Repair which most laptop's are so it's way better to use a desktop with "off the shelf" parts when things evetually break down.

Got a couple of old laptops, think they should run virtual DJ so if the graphics card is up to it, and they can read from the USB hard drive quick enough I might give it another try.
