He got it stuck on the way to work in a puddle because of the recent floods, and it's wrote it off! So he now needs to buy a new car.

Do not buy one of these if you ever plan on driving through puddles, especially not if your going to ever drive in the snow / ice as it just doesn't grip at all.

Alternator's packed in = battery suddenly died = No power for anything - copmuter wouldn't work, so car doesn't work. Ford want £480 for a new alternator. No idea how much they charge to fit it good job dad can do it. He found somewhere in Worksop for £138 bit better than Fords price!

Reversing lights stopped working after a cold spell. Took all the fuses out to test them and now got an "Engine Systems fault" and does not start Any ideas how to clear it? Dad's tried his OBD II reader tool, but says communication error.
