I've had a promotion at work. I'm now the Bar Manager / Front Of House Manager of Bondhay Golf Club.
Need to go and do a Licensee course soon.

Reporting To: Catering Manager, Peter Crossland
Hours Of Work: 30 Hours Per Week
Salary: £7.30
To Start: 17 October 2007-10-20 Special Requirements: Weekend and Evening Work

General Description
The Bondhay Golf Bar Manager will provide the necessary planning, organisation, direction, coordination and control to keep the Bar running smoothly and provide a high level of service.
Principle Responsibilities:
• Organise, lead and motivate the bar and service team. • Develop and introduce processes to effect management control over service delivery, business related staffing levels and financial procedures. • Control expenditure by efficient stock and waste management, supplier research and regular stock takes and effective budgetary control. • Work with the senior management team to develop the beverage service. • Introduce and monitor effective Health & Safety procedures, including clening rotas that are strictly observed. • Interacting with customers in a “front-of-house” role.
Typical Responsibilities:
• Assisting with recruitment and training of permanent and casual staff. • Monitoring and ensuring the quality of the product and service provided – including Staff presentation and attitude. • Maintaining stock levels, sourcing and ordering new supplies as required. • Provide the flexibility to undertake duties outside of this remit when the requirement exists.
