I should have been Djing, but it's been cancelled But that leaves me with the oppertunuity to go out and get wankered! Now the pubs and clubs are open even later . No idea where we're all going yet? Not really that bothered coz like I just said I'm gonna get mashed and wreck the dancefloor! If I was Djing my midnight tune would be (If I had my own choice and wasn't playing to the crowd). BK - REVOLUTION. Nice hard house to kick things off 2006 were going in da mix

Had a great night. Hope you did. Seeing as I had never been to Derby, we were lucky to find the place. We were just about to turn round down this long road, when the place we chose to turn around was the pub car park where we were supposed to be. When we got there we set the disco up in a markee. 1st New Years Eve I had spent in a tent. Had a bit of a nightmare setting the equipment up. The bulb (that had only just been replaced) in the projector had gone, and I only had one spare that turned out to be the wrong sort so the projector keept turning itself off. The bubble machine didn't work. Think it must have been because of the big heaters in the tent. Final Scratch keept going jerky. No idea why? Had better have a look at it before next weeks gig. Had the usual with DVD's not playing properly and skipping. All sounds worse than it was though. The snow machines worked a treat and went down well. The 12 O'clock countdown went really well, unlike last year where I was made to tune into some radio station and no one new it was time. lol. I was booked to Dj until 12:30, no idea why I was still going at 3am? I was enjoying myself and I think everyone else was. Everyone there was nice and friendly. Some really fit bar maids loads of hot girls everywhere (shame I had my dad stood next to me all night!). lol The crowd was great too. In the markee the age range was 18 - 30 70% girls too. Got a feeling I will hopefully be back there for next year. Hope you all have a great new year! Bye for now. P.S. Yes I did even manage to fit BK - Revolution into the set along with all the usual R&B tunes and the normal dancey stuff. Even a bit of Scott Brown - Your Shining (Not keen on the kitchen staff's taste in music - Ozzy Osbourne lol). Didn't take my camera, but the markee was on this patio type bit:
