Here are the ISP's Ive previously been with: Freedom2Surf £14.99 per month but I can only get 1Mb broadband coz we live too far from BT's exchange. I also get Free bandwidth usage between 1am - 6am (probably when I use it most anyway lol). I have also just signed up to trial 8Mb Broadband. It says: So even though I live a little too far from the exchange I should be able to get a faster connection soon

In response to your "So even though I live a little too far from the exchange I should be able to get a faster connection soon" This is possible only if you can receive faster speeds anyway. So if your max at the moment is one, it will be limited to 1Mb still. If you could get 2mb, 4mb or others but only paid for 1Mb then this service would allow you UPTO whatever your areas maximum is.

Personally I think AOL is for lamers (people who don't even understand what the term Lamer means. lol). Most pople that use AOL don't even know how to use a computer. Basically it takes over your PC and installs all kinds of useless rubbish in order for you to use thier 'Service'. I can't slate it too much as I have never been a customer, this is just experience from what I have seen of other people's computers when they have had problems and asked me to sort them out.
Just seen this someone wrote about AOL and it made me laugh lol

Seeing as I now work at BT Lynx I get free internet from BT.
Can't complain about Freedom 2 surf as it's been quite good over the years, just wish I could get a faster connection.
