The program you need on your PC to play MP3s is called WINAMP Download it from www.Winamp.comIn my opinion it's far better than all the others - Windows medai player, real player etc. One of it's best features is all the different plug-in's you can have. For example you cah have tempo controll to speed things up or slow them down, cross fading and one of the thing I like the most is all the different visualisations you can have that even display in time with the music. The only thing it's missing is a beat counter, but I bet their's a plugg in for that if you look hard enough. I also use the search feature lots too. Just load as many MP3s as you want, then press F3 on the keyboard then all you have to do is type part of the name of the song and it's ready to play. A Quick Note About MP3 CDs or DVDs. An MP3 CD is just a standard CD-R with lots of MP3 files on it. Personally I think this is loads better than normal audio CDs because on an MP3 CD you can get 100's tracks whereas a normal audio CD you can only get about 25 tracks. I even have a MP3 CD player in the car. MP3 DVD's are just the same, but you have 4.7 GIG worth of MP3s. That's a shit load of tunes. I'm still looking for MP3 DVD player for my car, but havn't found one yet.

MP3 Players For Djs
I'm currently using an MP3 Player for Djing. It's called FINAL SCRATCH (www.FinalScratch.com) It's the same principal as winamp, however it connects to what's called the "Scratch Amp" which is basically just an external sound card allowing you to have two different channels to plugg into your mixer so you can mix !
