The Preview player plays, but the sound is all distorted and muffled. Sounds like music does when playing it too loud through some speakers that have blown.
I can't test my scratch amp on another PC because none of the ones I have are equipped with a FireWire port and I don't know anyone else with a scratch amp I can borrow.
So I can only hope there's a software setting somewhere or it's something to do with the drivers?
I've tried running winamp through the scratch amp's headphone socket and the same thing happens.
I don't know when the problem started because when I used to use the preview player it sent everything that was playing live jerky. So I never bothered with it. Now I have Dj Studio 2.6 I need to use it. I have installed Hercules Dj Console since it was working last. Think it could be something to do with the drivers to that?
Alternatively how do I set Dj Studio's preview player to go through the laptop's sound card? I can only get it to work if I turn off the scratch amp.
Tried installing TDJS 2.6 again - Still the same. Uninstalled TDJS 2.6 then re-installed it - Still the same.
Any ideas?
Cheers. Gaz

Never did get this to work. Now use Virtual DJ so no need to worry about it anymore.
