Going to have to get someone to help with the disco's. Roadie as they call them.
The trouble is by the time I have paid someone it's not really worth it for me to spend on average 8 hours + you can't go anywhere or do anything else at the weekends.
Poor old dad's about knackered but I have too much gear to do it on my own. I could take less stuff I guess, but then I would have to charge less and then same thing - it's my time they are paying for so wouldn't be worth it. (Especially now baby is on the way!).
I've got mates that would help but can't for various reasons....either medical, work or live too far away. So think I'm gonna have to bite the bullet.
Option 1. Jack it in (can't see it happening, as I love all the geeky stuff with the computer and lights etc). Option 2. Pay someone to help (can never rely on anyone though). Option 3. Take less gear (but would mean charging less therefore not worth my time). Option 4. Just do laptop gigs (more travelling, but easier).
So if your interested in helping me out for a few quid, let me know. The problem is finding someone reliable I've had people say they will help, but on the day come out with some lame excuse that they are ill or whatever and when it's someone's wedding day I can't have that.
Cheers.

Talked Cheryl into helping out - see how long she sticks it out for?
