I'm currently working at Bondhay Golf Club. Which was all well and good while I was at Uni, but now I think it's about time I got a proper job. The disco's at the weekends are great, but without them I would have had to pack it in sooner at Bondhay. Beside's there's no career opertunitie's there. I never dreampt I would be a bar man when I was at school. lol.
I'm thinking about Joining the Police force, failing that I might try the Fire Brigade, and if it comes to it and nothing comes up inbetween the Army, but that's if I'm not too old already. Actually I wouldn't mind doing what Matt Barnett is - a PTI in the RAF.
In the mean time if you know of any jobs going let me know. Even another part time job would be good. Monday to Friday 9 - 5 would be awsome.

The police want people over the age of 30 because they think everyone else is a car thief, binge drinker, or smack head, they also don't want people who are open to other careers because they'll leave, they want people who will be trapped in the job.
Lets face it, do you really want someone pi$$ing on your head at a football match, someone puking all over you, or do you want to be the one scraping the bits and pieces of someone off the road after an accident, or cleaning up the mess after some sick killing or suicide.
The army probably won't take you because you may considered too old, you might want to consider the TA to get started and then the regulars may take you, the RAF may take you but they'll put you through an aptitude test.
Dave has a reputation with nurses.... that idea was scary lol.

Applied to the police force twice, but had problems with one question on the application form each time click here to see it. It's all to do with my experience's with people from other cultures that have different beliefe's etc. Basically I havn't had any to talk about. I got a better mark the first time when I made my answer up. The second time I was truthfull and said I'd not really had any experiences. When they are recruiting next I think I will just have to make something up. In the mean time the Djing is going great. Earning plenty, but not much free time.

Got another police application to fill in, but I can't be arsed at the moment. The other weekend I earnt £425 Djing just for a few hours "work" each night. Yeah it's not great for my social life coz I'm always "working" but I enjoy it. One day if I stick at it (and actually learn how to Dj and get good) I could be earning that each night at least ! Christmas is coming too so I'm going to be really busy!
I only end up getting in trouble, spending way too much and feeling rough for days after if I go for a night out anyway so it's good for me too (except the part where I'm going deaf in one ear).

Just had a promotion at work, I'm now the Bar Manager, so better money and better hours. Still busy with the disco's. Happy as I am at the moment.
Still going to college for the IT course, that might lead somewhere?

Things didn't turn out at Bondhay. The hours were rubbish so I have got a new job at BT Lynx.

Well done to Stu for getting the tech support job, I keep asking them to put me through some more training then next time it comes up I'll be applying for it, unless I get a workshop / field engineering job first.
