Went to PC world with the last one, they were no use.
Now another laptop's 'died' on me.
The first thing I noticed wrong with it was a problem associated with the monitor - moving it seemed to cause it to cut off, but moving it back the picture would come back on. Then today, it has a 'refusing to turn on' problem. The lighs come on like usual, but the hard drive doesn't load and nothing comes on the screen at all.
Laptop Specs: Model: Fujitsu Siemens AMILO D 8830 Processor: Intel Pentium IV- 3.06 GHz RAM: 2Gig Hard Drive: 120GB Fujitsu (5400rpm 8MB Cache) Graphics Card: ATI Mobility Radeon 9000 OS: Windows XP Pro. SP2
Can anyone help? Cheers.

Bought another one on ebay. Exactly the same model, so hopefully I can exchange a few parts and figure out what's gone on the old one and get it fixed.

I swapped everything over I could, and it looks like it's the main board that's gone. I saw one on ebay a few weeks ago, but can't find another I'll get one eventually and should be able to get the laptop working agian. Then I will have another as a back-up.
