17/Jan/2012: The Ship, Bawtry. They do not server John Smiths They had Guinness though a pint of that plus a glass of wine was £7 something. Not a place I could afford to go drinking at. The food was nice and home made for a change. Prices wern't bad, but the portions could have been bigger - only got about 6 chips. Staff were friendly enough, but it's definately a local pub for local people - you get looked at funny when you first walk in. They had a flatscreen TV showing Eastenders which depressed the hell out of me. There's plenty of other pubs in Bawtry, so won't be rushing back to the Ship, will go and try another instead next time. TripAdvisorQype

Cubana Tapas Bar, Sheffield. Went for the first time one Saturday afternoon 2011. Great fun place to eat. Beer is expensive, but isn’t it everywhere these days There wasn’t a free table as we didn’t book so off we wandered else where…. a few minutes later the waiter followed us down the road and caught up with us saying they did manage to get a table for us and let us in. Proper good service. QypeTrip AdvisorWent again for the second time Saturday 21st Jan 2012. £13 per head wasn't too bad, but was still hungry and ended up having a kebab later. lol

The Castle Wood Carter Lane East, South Normanton, Derbyshire DE55 2EH 01773 862899 brewersfayre.co.uk Nice microwaved frozen food. Drinks were expensive: £2 for a pint of coke and same for a J20 which is about half a pint. Drink and drive its cheaper if you get pulled up and fined in the long run. Google TripAdvisor
