Anyone got phone insurance? Ive never bothered before as I've been on contract. However the last xda I had from o2 on contract was a refurbished model they sent me back and was still under warranty, but they said the mini sd card slot didn't work due to user damage so the wouldn't fix it and wanted to charge me £300+ for a new main board in it. Suffice to say I'm no longer with o2 and won't be going back to them. Just worried the same thing could happen with my iPhone as it has been dropped in the past and there's a small hairline crack on the back they could easily say the same thing.

Made a special trip to meadowhall as Vodaphone website said if you wanted it insuring you had to take it to the shop. Got to the shop and they said they had to send it away. Seeing as it's now got a little hairline crack on the back whenever anything does go wrong with it they are going to say it's user damage that's caused it so not happy. Asked them about upgrading to an iPhone 4, they said I would have to pay the remainder of my contract so wouldn't be worth doing that. Lass on the counter said to replace the cover that it would cost about £150 so don't know what to do now? Either use and abuse this till it does break and just get another off eBay or keep this one safe and treat it like a baby. Hummm decisions decisions....
