Hello.
My broadband speed has gone really slow. Im currently with BT. Anyone know how I can get a faster connection?
I've emailed them today saying there's a fault and posted a couple of messages on the forum community.bt.com/
Still waiting to hear from them.
The last time this happend the broadband stopped working intermittantly, we had several engineers out. I think they even replaced the wire from the house to the pole to no avail.
One engineer suggested it was becuse out exchange had been switched to digital making out line slower.
Since they were out it has been a little better. However now it's gone so slow I can't even load web pages.
The hubs a brand new black one (they even sent a new one I've got three now two black and the old white one).
I've rung 17070 option 2 I heard nothing.
The hub connects straight into the main phone socket. (it did previously have one of those accelerator plates on it, but one of the engineers took it off and took it with him - siad it was no use).
There are no other phone sockets in the house.
It's driving me nuts. I don't want to spend hours on the phone to some Indian guy going through all the fault finding stuff as I've done it all several times over
I guess they will eventually send an enigneer out who will say he can't find a fault with the line.
It did seem loads better when I was connected to Orange. Might have to see about going back to them.
