Using XP pro and having a problem with the images displayed in folders: When viewing images (in the My Pictures folder for example) if the View is set to Thumbnails, the folder takes a very long time to display the pictures.
I have checked this.
Start | Run | Type: control folders | Click OK | View tab | UNCheck: Do not cache thumbnails | Click Apply | Click OK
The "Do not cache thumbnails" option was already unticked. Tried turning it off and on again to no avail.
Also when I try to load a picture it takes it ages to lod. It stats to load down the screen really slowly.
Don't want to have to format the hard drive and re-install windows, any ideas?
